Our mission

At eBikeLabs, we believe e-bikes are the best answer to mobility demands: they are fast, for everyone, they fit city infrastructure, they are good for the environment and health. So we made it our goal to accelerate the adoption of e-bikes and make them available to all.

With our AI powered firmware, we help shared and retail e-bike designers all over the world to transform a recreational vehicle –the bike– into a mobility solution. We let them take control of their designs, while making their controller intelligent and upgradable. We accelerate the transition of urban transportation to more sustainable modes.

Our story

After his PhD, Maël Bosson–now main owner and founder of eBikeLabs – decided to put maths and software magic in motion to accelerate bike adoption. eBikeLabs was born. Since then he has been deeply involved in the product, passionate about customers, and committed to sustainability. He has become a recognized opinion leader for the bike industry.

After 35 years at the helm of businesses at companies ranging from startups to large corporations, JR Bouvier decided to join eBikeLabs to turn it into a solid business and make it impactful. He has focused the company on its core competencies, instilled a disciplined approach to building products for scale.
